What You'll Do11
- 1Understand advanced analytic methods including descriptive predictive and prescriptive techniques
- 2Conduct analysis assess risk scores assign populations develop pricing trends and forecasts
- 3Coordinate actuarial analyses to recommend pricing reserving and provider reimbursement strategies
- 4Perform data exploration using Python SQL and SAS deploy predictive analytics and machine learning
- 5Lead market and competitive analyses and innovative payment strategies addressing complex challenges
- 6Develop financial models forecasting methodologies ROI analyses and vendor evaluations
- 7Collaborate across business clinical operational technology and provider stakeholders to drive change
- 8Create visual analytical tools dashboards and executive reports translating data into insights
- 9Manage mentor and guide a team of two actuaries providing coaching and career development
- 10Communicate complex findings to technical and non‑technical audiences including senior leadership
- 11Ensure hybrid work attendance two days per week
Requirements8
- 1College degree in mathematics statistics actuarial science economics computer science or equivalent experience
- 2ASA certification and progress toward FSA completion
- 3At least eight years of professional actuarial experience
- 4Proven ability to lead complex initiatives influencing decisions without direct authority
- 5Expert proficiency in Excel SQL Python and SAS with experience building models and automation
- 6Experience mentoring and developing quantitative professionals including performance management
- 7Ability to explain actuarial findings to diverse audiences
- 8Hybrid workplace model requiring office presence two days weekly
