What You'll Do10
- 1Lead high-energy sessions for up to 12 children aged 2–8 at partner sites
- 2Teach basic soccer skills while promoting teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence
- 3Travel to multiple preschools, childcare centers, and park locations
- 4Arrive prepared and on time with a positive, enthusiastic attitude
- 5Communicate professionally with parents, teachers, and staff
- 6Maintain accurate attendance records and manage equipment
- 7Support program goals and safety guidelines at all times
- 8Collaborate with teammates and site coordinators to ensure a smooth session flow
- 9Provide feedback and coaching tips to children and caregivers when appropriate
- 10Promote the program’s values and mission during interactions at sites
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Valid driver’s license or state ID and reliable transportation
- 3Energetic, responsible, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- 4Experience in early childhood education, youth sports, childcare, camp counseling, or recreation (preferred)
- 5Willingness to work a flexible weekly schedule including weekdays and/or weekends
- 6Ability to travel to partner sites across Essex County, NJ
- 7Strong communication skills with parents, teachers, and staff
- 8Positive attitude and commitment to consistent seasonal schedules
