Rho, a modern banking platform for startups, seeks a Weekend Onboarding Compliance Contractor to own weekend onboarding reviews. You will ensure compliance with U.S. banking regulations by reviewing applications and due diligence, working directly with the compliance team. This part-time, remote contract role lets you build expertise in fintech compliance. You'll escalate complex issues, track cases, and eventually make independent decisions, all while supporting a high-growth company.

What You'll Do6

  • 1Review client onboarding applications and related due diligence tasks.
  • 2Document reviews using internal systems and escalate to a full-time onboarding officer.
  • 3Send requests and verify required documentation, escalating issues to senior compliance.
  • 4Maintain accurate records and update case statuses in compliance systems.
  • 5Support team members with process documentation and workflow tracking.
  • 6Communicate urgent issues to supervisors or full-time onboarding officers for resolution.

Requirements6

  • 1In progress or completed associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, or related field.
  • 26+ months of experience in compliance, finance, banking, or customer service.
  • 3Basic understanding of BSA/AML or related banking regulations.
  • 4Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • 5Ability to work independently on weekends and meet service levels.
  • 6Clear written and verbal communication skills.
