What You'll Do11
- 1Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock to ensure they are clean and clear before loading
- 2Move outgoing products from staging area to the loading dock using a forklift
- 3Wrap pallets with cellophane and secure loads with proper shipping labels
- 4Transport items to the trailer using a forklift pallet jack or by hand following loading plans
- 5Locate proper slots on trailers and secure loads once positioned
- 6Inspect empty pallets for damage and relocate them to storage areas
- 7Assist order selectors and perform additional duties as directed
- 8Document audit results including daily data entry and share findings with leadership
- 9Communicate effectively with cross-functional team members
- 10Apply quality checking methods to verify product quality
- 11Handle store complaints and adjust credits accordingly
Requirements8
- 15+ years operating powered industrial equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- 2OSHA Forklift Certification strongly preferred
- 3Bilingual-Spanish/English proficiency preferred
- 4Ability to lift bend stoop and kneel
- 5Experience in grocery warehouse environments
- 6Strong mathematical skills for auditing tasks
- 7Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
