Overview
The role owns high quality alterations for Ready To Wear and Haute Couture garments while upholding CHANEL's ultimate experience for VIPs. This position ensures precise execution of complex fabrications and maintains top-tier standards during off-season through collaborative training and talent development.
What You'll Do11
- 1Build and lead alterations processes ensuring accurate and efficient execution of complex fabrications
- 2Fit garments for VIPs determining optimal alteration approaches
- 3Maintain confidentiality across key stakeholders including publicists and VIPs
- 4Create reversible alterations without cutting through strategic technique application
- 5Contribute to regional alterations community evaluation when necessary
- 6Thrive in team environment collaborating with cross-functional colleagues
- 7Communicate with VIP relations globally to determine specifications and preferences
- 8Utilize irons and pressing machines to eliminate garment creases
- 9Demonstrate mastery in tailoring and flou techniques for intricate materials
- 10Partner with Alterations team to develop talent during off-season periods
- 11Apply deep knowledge of CHANEL collections and ready-to-wear products
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in luxury retail alterations
- 35+ years crafting alterations for haute couture and ready-to-wear garments
- 4Exceptional attention to detail with specialized fabric knowledge
- 5Strong communication skills for VIP interactions
- 6Proven ability to work under time constraints
- 7Flexible schedule accommodating late nights weekends and holidays
- 8Physical capability to lift 20 pounds
