Overview
Own camera operations for a Food Tank livestream and recording event in Minneapolis, managing two Sony FX3 and Sony FX6 cameras with 24/70 and 70-200 lenses. You will capture a wide stage shot and a tight podium shot, and handle setup and strike. This single-event role runs August 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Deliver polished broadcast-quality footage that supports a global non-profit's storytelling.
What You'll Do7
- 1Set up two Benro fluid head tripods and Sony cameras at the venue by 4:00 PM.
- 2Frame a static wide shot of the stage and a tight shot for podium, fireside chat, and walk-and-talk segments.
- 3Operate both Sony FX3 and Sony FX6 for the 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM livestream and recording.
- 4Adjust 24/70 and 70-200 lenses to follow speakers smoothly during transitions.
- 5Monitor audio and video levels to ensure clean capture throughout the event.
- 6Strike all equipment and pack down by 9:00 PM, leaving the venue tidy.
- 7Coordinate with the production team to adapt shots to the event flow in real time.
Requirements7
- 12+ years operating Sony cinema cameras (FX3 or FX6) in live event settings.
- 2Hands-on experience with 24/70 and 70-200 zoom lenses for event coverage.
- 3Proficiency with Benro fluid head tripods for smooth pans and tilts.
- 4Ability to manage dual-camera setups with static and operated shots.
- 5Availability for the full 5-hour on-site shift on August 25, 2026.
- 6Local to Minneapolis or able to work onsite at the downtown venue.
- 7Prior work on livestream productions for non-profits or conferences preferred.
