Overview
Wells Fargo seeks a Vice President leading Product Control for the CIB Markets Division. The individual will own P&L review and approval across Structured Products and Global Secured Trading. Responsibilities include delivering high quality commentary partnering with multiple teams and establishing robust controls. This role differs by focusing on senior leadership driving finance product oversight.
What You'll Do9
- 1Review analyze and challenge daily Profit and Loss across Comprehensive Buy/Hold Clean Volcker and Front Office attribution models
- 2Approve and oversee P&L adjustments ensuring accuracy transparency governance and compliance including Volcker metrics
- 3Deliver high quality P&L and balance sheet commentary explaining key drivers risks and trends
- 4Investigate and resolve P&L issues while managing month end close general ledger reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation
- 5Maintain documented policies enhance control environment and align with industry best practices
- 6Collaborate with Front Office Middle Office Compliance and offshore Product Control teams including India
- 7Partner with Independent Price Validation Market and Credit Risk groups and Group Controllers
- 8Ensure accurate pricing relative to market standards for large transactions
- 9Drive continuous improvement of control processes and audit readiness
Requirements8
- 15+ years Finance experience or equivalent via work training or education
- 2Experience with Capital Markets products Fixed Income Securities Derivatives Securities Financing Transactions
- 3Strong knowledge of P&L reporting attribution risk balance sheet controls and financial governance
- 4Advanced degree or certification MBA CFA CPA MS or equivalent
- 5Familiarity with Wells Fargo securities systems Broadridge GPTM Calypso
- 6Knowledge of Wells Fargo reporting systems IRIS Hyperion Essbase
- 7Advanced desktop programming Access VBA Excel
- 8Proven ability to lead cross functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
