What You'll Do10
- 1Act as veterinarian's primary medical support
- 2Perform lab testing including in-house and out services
- 3Educate clients about procedures and treatments
- 4Conduct radiography and assist in exam rooms
- 5Maintain clinic cleanliness and organize medical supplies
- 6Support surgical assistants during procedures
- 7Develop strong communication skills with clients and patients
- 8Follow hospital safety protocols and policies
- 9Stand, walk, and lift 35-40 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- 10Manage daily clinic operations within a 32-40 hour work week
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Veterinary Technician Registration in Missouri
- 3Minimum one year veterinary assistant experience
- 4Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 5Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment
- 6Regular attendance record required
