What You'll Do8
- 1Assist with animal restraint and handling to ensure safety during examinations and procedures
- 2Support veterinary technicians with medication administration wound care and laboratory sample collection
- 3Maintain cleanliness and aseptic techniques in treatment areas to prevent infection
- 4Help with pet care tasks such as feeding bathing and grooming to promote animal well-being
- 5Manage front desk duties including appointment scheduling client check-in and answering questions
- 6Prepare animals for surgery or diagnostic tests by setting up equipment and assisting with restraint
- 7Support animal husbandry activities including feeding cleaning enclosures and monitoring health status
- 8Assist with animal catheterization laboratory testing and understanding veterinary terminology as needed
Requirements6
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 2Previous veterinary assistant experience or animal handling background preferred but not required
- 3Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices enhances your ability to support urgent patient needs
- 4Knowledge of animal anatomy physiology and restraint techniques is beneficial
- 5Strong communication skills for engaging with pet owners and team members effectively
- 6Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
