What You'll Do11
- 1Collaborate with engineers to extract transform and load heterogeneous datasets
- 2Administer maintain and optimize databases to resolve technical debt
- 3Design and improve database schemas and data models
- 4Participate in design sessions to analyze dependencies with POSTMAN data stores
- 5Define formats and structure for data exports imports
- 6Create APIs sharing data across systems
- 7Manage multiple database instances ensuring consistency across POSTMAN platform
- 8Support CI/CD automation code promotion and deployment operations
- 9Engage in daily scrums and program increment planning sessions
- 10Maintain privileged user accounts and security controls
- 11Document and implement security measures to meet SLAs
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years relevant experience or Master’s Degree with 6 years relevant experience
- 2DoD TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain clearance via Polygraph
- 3Security+ and cloud certifications for access
- 43+ years administering SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL and Oracle databases
- 53+ years scripting using command line interfaces
- 6Hands-on experience designing relational entity-relationship object-based data models and performance tuning
- 7Cloud database administration experience both on-premises and on cloud platforms
- 8Monitoring database health and mitigating performance risks
- 9Experience with record locking for data segregation
- 10Documentation of security controls and POAMs for vulnerabilities
- 11Managing multiple database instances across environments
