Manage tire bay operations at club level oversee tire sales ensure proper installation and repairs supervise team members maintain policies and procedures. Lead with a focus on safety collaboration and performance excellence.
What You'll Do11
- 1Supervise tire bay team members ensuring safe environment and adherence to policies.
- 2Ensure proper scheduling and staffing within areas of responsibility.
- 3Responsible for proper installation of tires including mounting dismount rotating and balancing.
- 4Install sell and repair tires while disposing of them according to club policy.
- 5Maintain and order tire installation equipment.
- 6Operate tire bay equipment safely and keep the bay clean and professional.
- 7Merchandise tire displays and automotive products provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk.
- 8Coordinate with Home Office regarding member tire needs and maintain accurate supply inventory.
- 9Understand special-order tire programs and monitor sales transactions handling cash when applicable.
- 10Comply with safety and cleanliness standards and manage tire bay audits and record retention policies.
- 11Ensure all TIA Certifications are completed timely and on file for all team members.
Requirements5
- 1At least 18 years of age high school diploma or college degree preferred valid driver’s license ability to drive automatic and manual vehicles.
- 2Strong interpersonal organizational skills attention to detail basic computer skills knowledge of tires batteries propane tanks and tire bay equipment.
- 3Prior tire installation and sales experience preferred level 400 certified technician preferred must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- 4Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance and demonstrate leadership capabilities managing cross-functional teams training members and driving results.
- 5Exposure to indoor and outdoor temperatures frequent standing moving and lifting heavy objects. Willingness to work in diverse environments.
