You will own the athlete experience on the sales floor, delivering expert gear guidance and an engaging shopping journey. What You'll Do8
- 1Greet every athlete and identify their sport needs to recommend the right gear.
- 2Demonstrate product knowledge across Sport and Outdoor categories.
- 3Operate the point-of-sale system to process transactions accurately.
- 4Maintain floor presentation and restock merchandise to ensure a clean shopping environment.
- 5Collaborate with teammates to meet daily sales goals.
- 6Resolve customer concerns with empathy and escalate as needed.
- 7Participate in store events and promotions to drive engagement.
- 8Learn product details and store layout during your first 30 days to answer questions instantly.
Requirements8
- 1High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 20-2 years retail or customer service experience.
- 3Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
- 4Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.
- 5Basic math skills for cash handling.
- 6Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- 7Commitment to DICK'S values of coachability, accountability, collaboration, and trustworthiness.
- 8Adherence to virtual interview protocols, including camera on and no AI tools.
