What You'll Do5
- 1Construct detailed business cases and investment appraisals, calculating NPV, IRR, and payback for project, product, or build-versus-buy decisions.
- 2Develop capital allocation recommendations by scoring investments against hurdle rates and reviewing the overall portfolio.
- 3Run scenario and sensitivity analyses on the corporate plan, testing changes in demand, pricing, and costs.
- 4Evaluate pricing and discount structures to support price-setting decisions and deal desk approvals, including margin impact.
- 5Create market sizing and competitive landscape assessments, and dig into cohort and unit economics, plus cost baseline and savings opportunities for cost-reduction programs.
Requirements3
- 1At least four years in strategic finance, corporate strategy, or corporate planning within an operating company.
- 2You've personally owned a capital allocation or pricing decision that was presented to a leadership committee.
- 3A background in management consulting, Big 4 strategy, growth equity, or deal desk/pricing strategy is a nice plus — especially if you're now in an operational role.
