Overview
We seek a trustworthy professional Store Associate to support daily operations across two locations. The ideal candidate excels in customer service handles high-value merchandise maintains a secure environment. Pay $17–$20 per hour based on experience includes travel between Chantilly and Alexandria. Monday to Friday 10 AM – 6 PM Saturday 10 AM – 3 PM Sunday closed.
What You'll Do9
- 1Assist customers with buying and selling gold silver bullion and jewelry
- 2Provide product pricing and market trend information training provided
- 3Handle cash card and high-value transactions with accuracy and integrity
- 4Inspect weigh and verify precious metals and jewelry items
- 5Maintain clean organized and secure display cases
- 6Monitor inventory and report discrepancies
- 7Follow strict security procedures when handling valuable merchandise
- 8Travel between both store locations including Chantilly
- 9Open and close stores following security protocols
Requirements8
- 1High school diploma or equivalent
- 2Previous retail jewelry pawn or precious metals experience preferred
- 3Strong honesty reliability and attention to detail
- 4Comfortable working with high-value items and transactions
- 5Reliable transportation required for commuting between locations
- 6Strong math and cash-handling skills
- 7Excellent customer service and communication skills
- 8Ability to pass a background check
