Overview
Support safe accurate and timely movement of parts materials assemblies and finished equipment across Grote. This utility role involves picking pulling staging and delivering items receiving inbound freight inspecting shipments and supporting outbound shipments. What You'll Do11
- 1Pick pull stage and deliver parts from stock room to support orders production and internal needs
- 2Receive inbound freight verify paperwork inspect shipments for damage confirm quantities tag material and route items
- 3Support outbound shipments verify customer information part numbers and packaging requirements
- 4Follow packing instructions prepare shipping paperwork complete bills of lading and ensure accurate ship confirmation
- 5Build crates and support packaging of machine parts assemblies and equipment
- 6Use hand tools power tools measuring tools and shop equipment for crating blocking bracing and packaging
- 7Safely operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to load unload trucks move pallets and stage shipments
- 8Assist with freight carrier coordination truck loading unloading dock organization and shipment staging
- 9Support water spider production activities delivering material removing completed material and maintaining organized flow lanes
- 10Maintain accurate inventory movement following ERP transaction requirements labeling material and escalating discrepancies quickly
- 11Support QC routing by moving incoming or returned material to correct hold inspection quarantine or release areas
Requirements11
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Previous stock room warehouse shipping receiving manufacturing logistics or inventory experience preferred
- 3Forklift experience required or ability to qualify quickly
- 4Experience loading and unloading trucks preferred
- 5Basic mechanical ability including comfort using hand tools power tools measuring tools and basic shop equipment
- 6Ability to read and follow work instructions packing slips part numbers and customer shipment requirements
- 7ERP transaction experience preferred
- 8Ability to read write speak and understand English
- 9Strong verbal written and interpersonal skills
- 10Physical ability to stand walk reach bend kneel lift and move materials
- 11Safety mindset and willingness to assist where needed
