Sr Test Engineer (Northridge CA)
Overview
MiniMed seeks a Sr Test Engineer to design and maintain automated test solutions for multi-tiered applications. This role drives scalable automation frameworks and ensures high software quality reliability and compliance. The candidate will operate onsite five days weekly in North Ridge CA.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design develop and maintain automated testing solutions using Java and industry-standard automation tools
- 2Enhance document and maintain automation frameworks tools and utilities used by test engineering teams
- 3Provide technical guidance and support to Test Automation Engineers across Enterprise Test Engineering
- 4Collaborate with Product Management Application Development DevOps and other technical teams to plan and execute automation activities
- 5Expand automation framework capabilities to support multiple test environments platforms and application layers
- 6Develop automated component API service and UI tests to validate application and component behavior
- 7Debug optimize and maintain automated test scripts to improve execution reliability and coverage
- 8Support continuous integration and continuous delivery practices through automation integration with tools such as Jenkins Git and Maven
Requirements9
- 1Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with a minimum of 2 years or PhD with 0 years of relevant experience
- 2Strong programming experience in Java
- 3Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium TestNG JUnit Rest Assured BrowserStack and Applitools
- 4Strong knowledge in using AI tools
- 5Experience testing across application layers including UI services APIs and backend components
- 6Preferred Experience as a Java Developer or Test Automation Engineer in the medical device domain or other regulated environments
- 7Knowledge of design patterns data structures and layered architecture with the ability to apply these concepts in test environments
- 8Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins Git and Maven
- 9Ability to programmatically test debug and optimize code and automated scripts
Salary Insight
$87 - $149k per year
