Overview
You will own the client Patient Reporting Service, building web-based reporting products at scale. Work with Java, Spring Boot, and AWS alongside cross-functional teams. This role drives digital transformation in healthcare, directly impacting patient data delivery.
What You'll Do8
- 1Build Java services for the Patient Reporting Service, delivering real-time patient data to web clients.
- 2Design and implement Spring Boot microservices in AWS, handling high-volume requests.
- 3Write clean, testable code with JUnit and Mockito, ensuring 90% coverage.
- 4Collaborate with Business, Technology, and Architecture teams to translate requirements into technical designs.
- 5Debug production issues using Kibana and CloudWatch, resolving defects within SLA.
- 6Ship features end-to-end, from database schema changes with Flyway to API deployment via Docker and Kubernetes.
- 7Optimize SQL queries for PostgreSQL, reducing response times by 30%.
- 8Drive code reviews and mentor junior engineers on Java best practices.
Requirements7
- 17+ years in Java development, including Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- 23+ years building cloud-native applications on AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda).
- 3Experience with RESTful API design and implementation.
- 4Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- 5Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployment.
- 6Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- 7Proven ability to work in hybrid onsite model in Secaucus, NJ.
