Sr. Java Application Developer (Remote)
Overview
You own design and delivery of Java application enhancements and data integrations that keep core business systems running at enterprise scale. You join a lean team of engineers and architects supporting critical applications across the organization, with direct impact on uptime and security compliance. You'll modernize integration frameworks and tackle production issues as they surface. What You'll Do7
- 1Translate business requirements into reliable technical solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
- 2Design and implement data integrations between REST APIs, Kafka, and SQL databases.

- 4Debug production incidents and resolve defects across the full stack, including AWS and Docker.
- 5Drive code reviews and unit testing with JUnit and Mockito to ensure high-quality releases.
- 6Support legacy Java EE applications while migrating to modern frameworks.
- 7Monitor application health and performance using New Relic and CloudWatch.
Requirements6
- 15+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
- 23+ years building and consuming REST APIs and integrating with Kafka or similar messaging systems.
- 3Proficiency with SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- 4Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS with containers like Docker.
- 5Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines with tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- 6Ability to debug and resolve production issues in a remote, collaborative environment.
