Software QA Engineer, Jenkins & Automation Testing
Overview
You will own the build and validation pipeline for Zoom's daily and release builds, serving millions of users. You will drive Jenkins continuous integration with TCP/UDP/MQTT protocols and expand automated test coverage using Python, Appium, Selenium, and Allure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build robust interface testing solutions and manage lab device onboarding. This role offers deep technical ownership in a leading collaboration platform.
What You'll Do7
- 1Maintain and generate Zoom daily and release test builds using Jenkins continuous integration over TCP/UDP/MQTT protocols.
- 2Migrate and implement automated testing frameworks with Git/Appium/Selenium/Allure across Windows and Android platforms.
- 3Build interface testing solutions with Python and C++ to cover SDK test cases and ensure product stability.
- 4Conduct pre-deployment and post-deployment validations through automated and manual testing.
- 5Manage and onboard lab devices for testing, ensuring device availability and configuration.
- 6Track, troubleshoot, and resolve internally reported issues to maintain build integrity.
- 7Assist the support team in reproducing and diagnosing customer issues with detailed technical analysis.
Requirements15
- 1Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, or foreign equivalent.
- 27+ years of experience in software QA or a related occupation.
- 37+ years using Jenkins continuous integration on Windows/Android to schedule and build product packages.
- 47+ years designing test automation scenarios with Automated Testing tools on Windows/Android.
- 57+ years applying TCP/UDP/MQTT protocols in Jenkins continuous integration.
- 67+ years developing test scripts in Python to test on multiple operating systems.
- 77+ years creating batch files and run files in Bat to simplify repetitive task execution.
- 87+ years building and running C++ code to execute Lua interface testing for functionality and performance.
- 97+ years using Gitlab to download/submit code for multi-person collaborative development and manage test code.
- 107+ years implementing interface testing solutions to cover SDK test cases and ensure product stability.
- 117+ years building, tracking, and monitoring daily build packages.
- 127+ years using Appium to develop and run mobile test automation on iOS and Android.
- 137+ years using Allure to generate reports on execution results, errors, failures, and pass rates.
