SMS Coordinator, Safety Management System Platform (SMS Pro)
Overview
Own the SMS platform and support safety and quality reporting at scale. You will administer SMS Pro, manage data integrity, and produce dashboards for leadership decisions. Collaborate with safety, quality, and operations to promote accurate documentation and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and maintain SMS Pro user accounts permissions and workflows to ensure data integrity
- 2Monitor SMS Pro dashboard and track safety reports investigations corrective actions and item status to ensure timely completion
- 3Review incoming safety quality and risk reports for completeness and assign to appropriate investigators
- 4Assist investigators with documenting investigations root cause analyses corrective actions and effectiveness in SMS Pro
- 5Maintain records for safety reports investigations audits actions and other SMS activities
- 6Compile analyze and distribute routine and ad hoc safety reports performance metrics and trends for decision making
- 7Support compliance with FAA ICAO DoD and other regulatory standards and assist with SMS procedures and training materials
- 8Provide training and ongoing support to SMS Pro users promoting accurate timely reporting and documentation practices
- 9Coordinate with safety quality and operations to support hazard reporting risk management audits and continuous improvement
- 10Identify opportunities to improve SMS Pro workflows reporting processes and system efficiency and provide recommendations
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 2 years in aviation safety quality risk management or related field
- 2Experience as an SMS Administrator or Investigator desired
- 3Bachelor’s degree a plus
- 4Proficient with MS Office Suite
- 5Proficiency with safety management platforms especially SMS Pro preferred
