What You'll Do10
- 1Greet guests and take food and drink orders, accommodating special needs and requests throughout the dining experience.
- 2Serve meals and beverages promptly, adhering to or exceeding service standards set by the restaurant.
- 3Complete opening and closing sidework, including restocking and cleaning, to maintain a spotless and compliant facility.
- 4Memorize menu items, recipes, and daily specials to answer questions and make recommendations confidently.
- 5Control allocated guest checks by following check-use procedures and documenting order details legibly.
- 6Process payments accurately, ensuring guest checks and payment methods are correct to safeguard customer and company interests.
- 7Attend pre-meal and departmental meetings in person to stay informed on products, service, and facility updates.
- 8Respond to customer inquiries and comments in person and by phone with timely, knowledgeable information.
- 9Maintain a clean, professional appearance and a friendly, cheerful demeanor at all times.
- 10Support management with additional duties as requested to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
Requirements10
- 1High school education or equivalent.
- 23+ months of prior server or food service experience.
- 3Basic knowledge of customer service principles, food serve functions, and restaurant operations.
- 4Standard cash-handling procedures.
- 5Fluent oral and written English.
- 6Vision ability to read guest checks, computer printouts, and observe the restaurant in dim lighting.
- 7Manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items, and balance trays with food and beverages.
- 8Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs up to 75% of the time.
- 9Full mobility to travel up to 300 feet regularly and stand continuously throughout the shift.
- 10Moderate hearing and excellent vision to interact with guests and see product preparation.
