Overview
Server at Bamboo Sushi, a purpose driven restaurant, joins a high volume front of house team in San Ramon. You will collaborate with FOH and BOH to deliver consistent, timely guest experiences, while expanding knowledge of Japanese cuisine and beverages. What You'll Do5
- 1Build guest relationships through attentive service and accurate order delivery to ensure guest satisfaction.
- 2Ride along with FOH and BOH teams to maintain food quality and timely service at high volume.
- 3Assist fellow team members in meeting guests9; needs and communicate effectively to resolve issues.
- 4Follow company policies and food safety standards to protect guests and team members.
- 5Engage in ongoing education around Japanese cuisine and beverages to improve service knowledge.
Requirements5
- 11+ years of experience in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service preferred
- 2Working knowledge of dining room service standards, procedures, and functions
- 3Knowledgeable in proper food and drink handling and storage
- 4Ability to work in a fast-paced full service restaurant environment with occasional loud noises
- 5Excellent communication skills and ability to exchange accurate information with customers
