Overview
You will own the dining experience for residents at Lombard Place Assisted Living & Memory Care, creating an atmosphere that rivals a favorite restaurant. You will guide residents to tables, present menus, suggest dishes, and assist with drink selection. Build meaningful relationships with residents while using a state-of-the-art point of sale system for accurate orders. This role is the heart of the community, where your compassion and service turn meals into connections.
What You'll Do7
- 1Direct residents to their tables with warmth and a smile, setting the tone for their dining experience.
- 2Present menus and suggest dishes, helping residents choose meals that delight them.
- 3Assist with drink selection, offering thoughtful recommendations.
- 4Communicate specific resident orders using the point of sale system, ensuring accuracy and speed.
- 5Complete all dining room opening and closing duties, from setup to reset, to maintain a welcoming space.
- 6Build relationships with residents, learning their preferences to personalize service.
- 7Deliver the service a guest would expect in their favorite restaurant, turning every meal into a special moment.
Requirements5
- 1A big smile, eagerness to learn, and compassion for residents.
- 2If under 18, provide proper schoolwork authorization.
- 3Hold a Food Handler’s Card or obtain one facilitated by Spectrum, per state and/or county regulations.
- 4Strong customer service presentation, with the ability to engage warmly and professionally.
- 5Ability to work part-time, variable shifts including weekends.
