Senior webMethods Developer, EDI & Retail Integrations
Overview
You will own EDI integrations for major big box retailers, driving Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes and remittance processing at scale. You will join a team of integration specialists in Indianapolis, coordinating IBM webMethods solutions with retail partners. This role focuses on end-to-end EDI X12 transactions, from 850 to 856, with direct impact on revenue operations. 10+ years of integration experience is required, with expertise in webMethods and retail EDI standards.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement webMethods integration solutions for retail EDI transactions, including 850, 855, and 856, ensuring accurate order-to-cash flow.
- 2Lead the onboarding and mapping of EDI X12 documents for major big box vendors, coordinating with trading partners to meet compliance requirements.
- 3Develop and maintain IBM webMethods services and orchestrations, optimizing performance for high-volume transaction processing.
- 4Drive the integration of O2C business processes with SAP or other ERP systems, enabling seamless order management and invoicing.
- 5Debug and resolve critical production issues in EDI transactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime.
- 6Document integration flows and business rules, ensuring maintainability and knowledge transfer across the team.
- 7Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to translate requirements into technical designs within the webMethods environment.
- 8Implement EDIFACT standards where required, expanding the integration footprint for international retail partners.
Requirements8
- 110+ years of experience in webMethods development and integration architecture, with a focus on EDI.
- 25+ years of hands-on experience with EDI X12 transactions, including 850, 855, 856, and 810.
- 3Proven expertise in IBM webMethods suite, including Integration Server, Broker, and Trading Networks.
- 43+ years in retail industry EDI implementations, specifically with big box retailers like Walmart, Target, or Amazon.
- 5Strong understanding of O2C (Order to Cash) processes and AS2 communication protocols.
- 6Experience with SAP IDoc and ALE integration for seamless data exchange.
- 7Ability to work onsite in Indianapolis, IN, for a long-term contract (W2 only).
- 8Excellent problem-solving skills in high-pressure production environments.
