Overview
Design and maintain secure hybrid/multi-cloud network architectures (AWS/GCP) while enforcing zero-trust access controls and network segmentation across corporate data centers and edge environments. Own next-generation firewall platforms and secure remote access solutions integrating SAML and Entra ID. Drive automation using Terraform Python and CI/CD pipelines to streamline security baselines and reduce manual toil.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design implement and maintain secure hybrid/multi-cloud network architectures (AWS/GCP) and enforce zero-trust access controls across corporate data centers and edge environments
- 2Own and operate Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet firewalls managing policy architecture segmentation NAT URL filtering SSL/TLS decryption and threat prevention tuning
- 3Architect secure remote access solutions including VPN ZTNA and GlobalProtect ensuring high availability and certificate-based authentication via SAML and Entra ID integration
- 4Drive automation and IaC using Terraform Python and CI/CD pipelines for configuration management firewall policies and security baselines integrating LLM-based tools to reduce manual toil
- 5Oversee 24/7 network security monitoring traffic analysis threat detection vulnerability assessments and remediation while leading 802.1X/NFC network access control initiatives
- 6Define security roadmaps mentor engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives with Product Security SRE IT and Software Engineering teams
- 7Support compliance with NIST 800-53 CSF 2.0 and ISO 27001 through security reviews and evidence collection
- 8Drive adoption of AI/ML capabilities such as anomaly detection behavioral analytics and LLM-driven copilots in network and cloud security workflows
Requirements8
- 18+ years network security engineering experience securing enterprise cloud and OT/lab environments
- 2Expertise in next-gen firewalls Palo Alto Fortinet AWS NFW WAFs IDS/IPS NAC 802.1X PKI VPN ZTNA solutions
- 3Strong understanding of TCP/IP BGP OSPF VLAN 802.1X TLS/PKI and cloud networking security principles
- 4Hands-on experience with Terraform Python CI/CD pipelines and REST APIs for IaC automation
- 5Proven experience with SIEM IDS/IPS Zeek Suricata and vulnerability management platforms
- 6Background in autonomous vehicle robotics or automotive security environments
- 7Certifications: PCNSE AWS Security Specialty CCNP/CCIE Security or CISSP
- 8Experience deploying AI/ML-based security capabilities such as anomaly detection behavioral analytics LLM copilots
