Senior SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) - LiveRamp
Overview
You will own the deployment and reliability of global products at LiveRamp, the data collaboration platform used by hundreds of innovative companies. You will set up production and internal environments, provide 24/7 first-line support, and drive resolutions with engineering teams. You will enhance CI/CD tooling, maintain Terraform scripts, and optimize system performance and cost. This role stands out for its global scope, working with teams across California, Paris, Nantong, Singapore, and Australia, and for championing SRE best practices.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own and support deployment of global products, including setting up production and internal environments.
- 2Provide 24/7 first-line Engineering support via follow-the-sun teams for issues related to product deployment, availability, and operations.
- 3Drive effective resolutions of core product issues with Engineering teams.
- 4Setup and maintain Infrastructure & Product Reliability monitoring and alerting.
- 5Maintain and enhance CI/CD Tooling and Terraform scripts in collaboration with DevOps team.
- 6Maintain and enhance Engineering Operational Documentation for supported products.
- 7Build and maintain product operational documentation and set up product SRE practices.
- 8Optimize performance and cost of systems, rightsizing Kubernetes containers.
- 9Work with real-time and NoSQL databases such as SingleStore DB, ScyllaDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
Requirements10
- 15+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or production engineering.
- 2Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- 3Experience building continuous integration declarative pipelines in Jenkins or CircleCI.
- 4Experience with platforms like Kubernetes, containers, and public clouds (GCP or AWS).
- 5Experience with deployment and monitoring of highly scalable products.
- 6Hands-on experience with FinOps and autoscaling Kubernetes clusters.
- 7Experience in Python or Go programming language.
- 8Experience with SRE best practices and working knowledge of observability principles.
- 9Ability to lead and mentor other engineers in SRE best practices.
- 10Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Salary Insight
$135 - $159k per year
