PEMCCO seeks a Senior Software Engineer to lead design development integration testing and sustainment of mission critical software applications. What You'll Do13
- 1Lead the design development testing implementation and maintenance of software applications and systems
- 2Analyze user system and business requirements and develop software solutions that support operational objectives
- 3Develop software architectures system designs and technical approaches for complex development efforts
- 4Perform coding debugging testing and troubleshooting throughout the software development lifecycle
- 5Support software integration verification validation and deployment activities
- 6Evaluate software performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency reliability maintainability and scalability
- 7Ensure software solutions comply with applicable standards security requirements and industry best practices
- 8Participate in code reviews design reviews and technical assessments
- 9Develop and maintain software documentation technical specifications and engineering artifacts
- 10Coordinate with engineers system administrators analysts cybersecurity personnel and stakeholders to support project objectives
- 11Analyze and resolve complex software defects and technical issues
- 12Research and evaluate emerging technologies and development methodologies
- 13Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior software engineers and developers
Requirements10
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons leading software development efforts or technical teams
- 3Advanced coursework or specialized training in software engineering cloud computing cybersecurity artificial intelligence machine learning or related disciplines
- 4Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if required
- 5Experience supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs
- 6Experience leading software development efforts or technical teams
- 7Experience working within Agile Scrum DevSecOps or similar development environments
- 8Experience developing enterprise distributed or mission critical applications
- 9Experience supporting software integration testing and deployment activities
- 10Mentoring software development personnel
Salary Insight
$141 - $233k per year
