What You'll Do7
- 1Co-design a software suite that runs end-to-end workflows for Alloy’s novel Stack ForgingTM manufacturing process
- 2Develop 3D algorithms to improve part accuracy and simplify support removal
- 3Take products and features from requirements definition to proof-of-concept prototypes to production code
- 4Develop 2D motion and path planning algorithms to improve the throughput of Alloy’s Construct machine
- 5Collaborate in the team’s agile development process
- 6Provide feedback and improve the team’s code quality
- 7Work with external designers and developers as needed
Requirements11
- 1Comfort in a fast-paced startup environment with a bias towards action
- 2Ability to balance long-term strategic thinking with short-term focus on details
- 33+ years of experience with computational geometry or an adjacent field
- 4Strong experience in C++ object oriented design and development
- 54-year degree in fields such as Computer Science or related disciplines
- 65+ years of industry experience building high quality code
- 7Preferred skills: comfortable developing for both back-end and front-end applications
- 8Experience architecting software systems considering customer workflow and process dataflow
- 9Broad applications experience and shipped code
- 10Relevant field such as additive manufacturing or industrial inspection
- 11Ability to work in an agile production code environment
Salary Insight
$125 - $160k per year
