What You'll Do10
- 1Architect full end-to-end software systems defining structure interfaces technology choices and trade-offs
- 2Research design develop and modify enterprise software throughout SDLC creating architecture diagrams design documents and technical patterns
- 3Write production-grade software primarily in Go and Rust plus shell/Bash for automation
- 4Develop automated tests to ensure reliability and contribute to front-end development in TypeScript and React
- 5Use AI-assisted coding tools like Claude Code and OpenAI Codex to accelerate problem solving
- 6Package build and deploy containerized applications in GitOps-driven environments managing production deployments
- 7Build internal tools CLIs and APIs to streamline development workflows
- 8Work across application code container runtime OS and kernel diagnosing issues in distributed systems
- 9Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure highly available distributed systems
- 10Own reliability of shipped software ensuring mission-critical operations remain secure and reliable
Requirements6
- 1Education: Technical training certifications or relevant degree with 8+ years professional software development experience
- 2Required technical skills: Systems-level programming in Go and/or Rust strong Linux and shell/Bash knowledge kernel-level understanding
- 3Experience designing and architecting secure highly available distributed systems building containerized software (Docker/OCI)
- 4Strong debugging skills in complex distributed environments ability to troubleshoot harden improve system reliability
- 5US citizenship required and ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph within clearance level
- 6Preferred skills: Kubernetes highly desired GitOps delivery (Flux Argo CD systems-level experience with C or C++ TypeScript/React container tooling Docker Compose Renovate monitoring alerting and debugging large-scale systems building tools and APIs open-source contribution
