Senior Salesforce Developer, Force.com & Integrations
Overview
You will own the design and delivery of Salesforce solutions at General Motors, building new capabilities across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities. You will partner with business, technology, and design teams to ship features and automate core business processes. Your work will span custom Apex development, Lightning Web Components, and integrations with internal systems. This role stands out because you will drive Salesforce enhancements that directly impact GM's vision of zero crashes, zero emissions, and zero congestion, all within a hybrid work model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote).
What You'll Do8
- 1Build and customize Salesforce solutions using Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce to support new business capabilities.
- 2Drive Salesforce enhancements and improvements by collaborating with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical designs.
- 3Integrate Salesforce with internal systems using REST and SOAP APIs to automate end-to-end business processes.
- 4Design and develop large-scale technology solutions on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities, ensuring performance and reliability.
- 5Implement OmniScript and Flex Cards to create guided, user-friendly flows for customer and employee facing applications.
- 6Optimize existing Apex triggers and batch processes to improve efficiency and reduce platform limits.
- 7Support and maintain custom Lightning components, ensuring alignment with Salesforce best practices and security models.
- 8Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models and architecture for new Salesforce features.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, Salesforce Developer, or related occupation.
- 25+ years programming and configuring with Force.com Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, Flows, OmniScript, Flex Cards, JavaScript (ES6), and ReactJS.
- 35+ years designing and developing large-scale technology solutions with deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Communities.
- 45+ years applying object-oriented (OO) design patterns in Apex and other languages.
- 55+ years working with Salesforce Lightning UI and understanding user-based security models.
- 65+ years with database concepts and data modeling, including SOQL and SOSL queries.
- 75+ years modeling and designing application architecture within the Salesforce ecosystem.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
