What You'll Do9
- 1Own Sierra’s privacy counseling and compliance program while scaling globally
- 2Advise on AI privacy regulations and develop AI governance policies
- 3Draft and negotiate DPAs BAAs and other privacy transactional documents
- 4Manage privacy incident response and notification obligations
- 5Create training materials and conduct sessions for product and business teams
- 6Provide regulatory advice on emerging AI-specific privacy laws
- 7Represent Sierra before regulators and industry groups on privacy matters
- 8Collaborate with product engineering operations marketing and legal teams
- 9Assess privacy risks and implement compliance solutions for a hyperscaling business
Requirements10
- 18+ years legal experience combining large international law firms and tech in-house roles
- 2Deep knowledge of GDPR CCPA and other US state privacy laws
- 3Strong understanding of AI regulatory frameworks such as EU AI Act and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
- 4Personal experience with AI products LLMs and related legal issues
- 5Mentoring and managing junior team members
- 6Proven track record drafting reviewing and negotiating privacy related commercial agreements
- 7Ability to evaluate privacy risks and implement compliance solutions in fast moving environments
- 8Excellent analytical skills balancing legal risks and business objectives
- 9Strong verbal and written communication abilities for cross functional partnership
- 10Commitment to teamwork and collaborative culture
