What You'll Do9

  • 1Own Sierra’s privacy counseling and compliance program while scaling globally
  • 2Advise on AI privacy regulations and develop AI governance policies
  • 3Draft and negotiate DPAs BAAs and other privacy transactional documents
  • 4Manage privacy incident response and notification obligations
  • 5Create training materials and conduct sessions for product and business teams
  • 6Provide regulatory advice on emerging AI-specific privacy laws
  • 7Represent Sierra before regulators and industry groups on privacy matters
  • 8Collaborate with product engineering operations marketing and legal teams
  • 9Assess privacy risks and implement compliance solutions for a hyperscaling business

Requirements10

  • 18+ years legal experience combining large international law firms and tech in-house roles
  • 2Deep knowledge of GDPR CCPA and other US state privacy laws
  • 3Strong understanding of AI regulatory frameworks such as EU AI Act and NIST AI Risk Management Framework
  • 4Personal experience with AI products LLMs and related legal issues
  • 5Mentoring and managing junior team members
  • 6Proven track record drafting reviewing and negotiating privacy related commercial agreements
  • 7Ability to evaluate privacy risks and implement compliance solutions in fast moving environments
  • 8Excellent analytical skills balancing legal risks and business objectives
  • 9Strong verbal and written communication abilities for cross functional partnership
  • 10Commitment to teamwork and collaborative culture
