Senior Power Platform Developer
Overview
SOSi seeks a Senior Power Platform Developer to design and implement advanced solutions on Microsoft Power Platform for Army Records Management and DoD programs. The role involves creating Enterprise Power Apps Power Automate workflows and Power BI analytics while supporting project managers with technical planning and mentorship.

- 1Design and deploy enterprise-grade Power Apps applications
- 2Build automated workflows using Power Automate to streamline mission processes
- 3Develop Power BI dashboards and analytical reports supporting decision-making
- 4Analyze technical and functional requirements to create detailed solution designs
- 5Develop and maintain Dataverse tables schemas and relationships
- 6Lead technical development across multiple Army or DoD IT projects
- 7Provide expert-level technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
- 8Support Project Managers with technical planning and scheduling
- 9Report and monitor technical progress throughout the software development lifecycle
- 10Conduct studies evaluate and recommend solutions for complex engineering challenges
- 11Integrate existing GOTS systems with new Power Platform solutions
- 12Modify and enhance GOTS applications to meet evolving government requirements
- 13Ensure solutions adhere to configuration management and Change Control Board processes
- 14Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Power Apps Power Automate Power BI and related systems
- 15Develop scalable enterprise data models supporting analytics and automation
- 16Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to refine requirements and validate solutions
- 17Maintain complete technical documentation across the full SDLC
- 18Coordinate development activities within a team to meet technical and contractual deadlines

- 1Active in scope Secret security clearance
- 2Baseline and computing environment certifications for IAT-II IAW DoD 8570.01-M (CCNA-Security CySA+ GICSP GSEC Security+ CND or SSCP)
- 3Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in engineering scientific technical or business management disciplines from an accredited college or university
- 4Five to seven years of technical development and implementation experience
- 5Expert proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps Power Automate Power BI)
- 6Strong experience with Dataverse Power Fx DAX and related tools
- 7Experience modifying or integrating GOTS applications within Army or DoD environments
- 8Knowledge of configuration management and Change Control Board processes
- 9Ability to produce accurate development effort estimations for project scheduling
- 10Proven ability to lead technical development across multiple IT projects
- 11Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle SDLC
- 12Experience working with enterprise data sources including SQL and SharePoint
- 13Ability to design and analyze complex data models for enterprise applications
- 14Strong problem-solving skills for highly complex engineering and technical issues
- 15Experience conducting technical studies evaluations and recommending solutions
- 16Ability to work independently or collaboratively within technical project teams
- 17Strong communication skills with ability to mentor and guide lower-level developers
