Senior PeopleSoft Architect, FIN 9.2 GL & KK
Overview
You will own the architecture and functional design of PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 for a large government enterprise, driving end-to-end implementations across General Ledger and Commitment Control. You will sit on the functional team but must also debug PeopleCode and Application Engine programs to resolve complex integration issues. Your expertise will bridge core financial modules (AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing) with external systems via Integration Broker, REST and SOAP APIs. This role demands a 5+ years background in PeopleSoft lifecycle testing, production support, and cross-module workflows, with a 24/7 on-call commitment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Architect PeopleSoft FIN 9.2 solutions for General Ledger and Commitment Control, defining ledger configurations and budget structures.
- 2Diagnose and fix PeopleCode and Application Engine defects, identifying root causes for customizations and upgrade conflicts.
- 3Design cross-module integrations between GL, AP, AR, Purchasing, Billing, and Travel & Expense, using Integration Broker and REST/SOAP APIs.
- 4Build custom inbound and outbound interface files with banking systems and other external platforms, leveraging SOA and file transfer protocols.
- 5Lead functional design discussions and technical walkthroughs, translating business requirements into PeopleSoft configurations and code changes.
- 6Execute full lifecycle testing for vouchering, purchasing, GL journal posting, and AR processing, managing test sequencing and data staging.
- 7Write enhancement documentation covering requirements, configuration, table and code changes, test conditions, and business risks.
- 8Provide 24/7 production support, triaging incidents and resolving defects across the PeopleSoft environment.
Requirements9
- 15+ years configuring PeopleSoft FIN 9.2, with deep expertise in GL and Commitment Control (KK).
- 25+ years analyzing PeopleCode, AE programs, and other technical objects to identify root causes and retrofit needs.
- 33+ years integrating PeopleSoft with external systems using Integration Broker, REST, and SOAP APIs.
- 43+ years building custom interfaces with banking systems using SOA and file transfer methods.
- 5Proficiency in Application Designer and People Tools for development and troubleshooting.
- 62+ years writing enhancement documentation, including technical specs and test plans.
- 7Expert-level PS Query skills for data analysis and reporting.
- 8Experience supporting large government enterprise solutions, preferred.
- 9Willingness to be on call 24/7 for production issues.
