
Senior Network Engineer, Cisco SD-WAN & ACI
Overview
This role owns network architecture and operations for a large enterprise, spanning Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, and segment routing. You will design and maintain core routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, and BGP, ensuring high availability and performance. Work onsite in Tulsa, OK, with F2F interviews in Tulsa, Dallas, or Houston. No remote option. This position requires L3/L4 expertise and direct customer-facing engagement.
What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement Cisco ACI fabrics, including tenants, EPGs, and contracts, for data center modernization.
- 2Deploy and manage Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) and VMware VeloCloud to optimize branch connectivity and policy.
- 3Engineer segment routing (SR-MPLS) solutions to enable traffic engineering and fast reroute.
- 4Tune routing protocols OSPF, ISIS, and BGP to ensure convergence and stability across the network.
- 5Troubleshoot complex network incidents, providing L3/L4 support and root cause analysis.
- 6Collaborate with customers to validate design changes, presenting technical solutions and performance metrics.
- 7Drive network automation using Python and Ansible to reduce manual configuration and human error.
- 8Maintain network documentation and diagrams, ensuring accuracy and version control.
Requirements9
- 15+ years in enterprise networking with focus on data center and WAN technologies.
- 2Expert-level knowledge of Cisco ACI and Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
- 3Hands-on experience with VMware VeloCloud (SD-WAN) and segment routing.
- 4Deep understanding of routing protocols: OSPF, ISIS, BGP.
- 5Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure during network incidents.
- 6Excellent communication skills for customer-facing interactions and technical documentation.
- 7Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8Willingness to attend F2F interview in Tulsa, Dallas, or Houston.
- 9Ability to work onsite in Tulsa, OK, full-time or contract.
Salary Insight
$110 - $120k per year
