Senior Manager Electronics R&D Delta Faucet
Overview
Lead a small agile team of Firmware and Electrical Engineers to shape Delta Faucet’s digital future. Report to the Senior Director of Advanced Research and Development. Own end-to-end development of embedded electronic systems and drive transformation for digital solutions.
What You'll Do11
- 1Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- 2Partner with innovation explorers and product engineers to deliver digital solutions from concept to product
- 3Lead R&D of electronic systems ensuring customer needs are met on time and within budget
- 4Develop transformational process roadmaps and maintain relationships with internal/external partners
- 5Drive innovation in digital systems design while staying ahead of industry trends
- 6Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
- 7Create standardized development processes for digital systems including design testing and documentation
- 8Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to development workflow
- 9Mentor and coach engineers to foster skill growth and career development
- 10Take initiative to maintain project schedules as a hands-on self-starter
- 11Own digital platform creation from initial concept through deployment
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related field
- 210+ years of experience in new product development R&D
- 3Extensive experience designing and implementing embedded digital systems hardware firmware software
- 4Familiarity with DFMEA and standard product development tools
- 5Proven track record managing code repositories and APIs
- 6Strong knowledge of wired and wireless communication protocols
- 7Experience mentoring colleagues and supporting career growth
- 8Previous managerial experience preferred
- 9Hands-on self-starter with initiative to maintain project schedules
- 10Commitment to inclusive environment and diverse perspectives
