Senior Full Stack Software Developer
Overview
Navitas seeks a senior developer to lead migration of core backend services from Java to Python. The ideal candidate will build scalable REST APIs and microservices in both stacks while optimizing database schemas and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
What You'll Do7
- 1Lead the transition and development of new services using Python frameworks like Django FastAPI and Flask
- 2Design and optimize database schemas using PostgreSQL
- 3Implement and maintain AWS CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
- 4Develop and maintain test automation frameworks for Java and Python codebases
- 5Collaborate with architects DevOps QA and product teams to ensure smooth migration
- 6Troubleshoot debug and optimize application performance across both stacks
- 7Ensure best practices in security cloud-native development and code quality
Requirements8
- 17-10 years of backend development experience
- 2Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
- 3Solid experience with Python and Django FastAPI or Flask
- 4Strong knowledge of SQL PostgreSQL
- 5Experience with AWS services and CI/CD pipelines
- 6Hands-on experience with test automation PyTest JUnit Selenium
- 7Ability to work in an onsite fast-paced environment
- 85+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
