Senior Full Stack Developer, Application Support & Integration
Overview
You will own application enhancements, integration development, and production support for an enterprise platform in New York City. You will join a team of two senior developers, providing cross-trained coverage and ensuring system stability. You will collaborate with stakeholders to deliver robust solutions using React, Node.js, and AWS. What You'll Do8
- 1Build new features and enhance existing functionality in the React frontend and Node.js backend.
- 2Design and implement integrations with third-party APIs using REST and GraphQL.
- 3Debug production issues, identify root causes, and deploy hotfixes to maintain system uptime.
- 4Write unit and integration tests with Jest to ensure code quality and reduce defects.
- 5Refactor legacy code to improve maintainability and performance.
- 6Lead knowledge transfer sessions to cross-train team members on critical systems.
- 7Drive the migration of on-premises services to AWS using Docker and Kubernetes.
- 8Collaborate with product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of full stack development experience with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- 23+ years building and maintaining RESTful APIs.
- 32+ years working with AWS services including Lambda, EC2, and S3.
- 4Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments.
- 5Solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- 6Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 7Experience in production support and on-call rotation.
- 8Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
