What You'll Do11
- 1Bring-up and implement sensor technologies into Pod hardware to enhance health monitoring capabilities
- 2Collaborate with hardware teams to prototype and deploy efficient designs
- 3Lead firmware development transformations using modern tooling and standards
- 4Support global manufacturing teams in China to ensure product quality and timely delivery
- 5Maintain clear communication while thriving in both remote and in-person settings
- 6Ship firmware at scale across large device fleets with telemetry monitoring and OTA updates
- 7Interpret hardware data sheets and schematics to debug complex issues
- 8Utilize logic analyzers and oscilloscopes to resolve technical challenges
- 9Travel regularly to China for team collaboration and support
- 10Own end-to-end hardware integration projects from concept to production
- 11Drive performance optimization in low-memory environments with bare metal systems
Requirements11
- 15+ years of software engineering experience focusing on firmware in C/C++
- 2Proficiency in client or test tooling development using Python or NodeJS
- 3Advanced skills in developing for compute-constrained environments
- 4Experience creating peripheral drivers and communication protocols like UART I2C SPI USB
- 5Knowledge of DMA and hardware debugging techniques
- 6Track record of shipping and maintaining large device fleets with telemetry and OTA updates
- 7Ability to read and interpret hardware documentation and schematics
- 8Familiarity with logic analyzers and oscilloscopes for troubleshooting
- 9Adaptive problem-solving mindset for complex technical challenges
- 10Willingness to travel to China for regular team collaboration
