Overview
We seek a Senior Communications and Networks Systems Engineer to lead development of next generation communication subsystems for the E-7A Program. This 100% onsite role in Tukwila WA requires solving complex cross-disciplinary challenges while driving system optimization and integration across multiple engineering domains. The ideal candidate will bridge technical expertise with leadership capabilities to elevate mission-critical airborne early warning systems.
What You'll Do9
- 1Apply interdisciplinary collaboration to design and validate balanced communications subsystems integrated with E-7A platform
- 2Perform end-to-end performance analyses to optimize architecture and recommend configuration strategies
- 3Utilize deep understanding of hardware software and network layers to address multi-functional requirements
- 4Evaluate technical maturity and risk across communication subsystems while coordinating with multi-discipline teams
- 5Develop requirements management processes and lead resolution of cross-functional technical conflicts
- 6Oversee system verification activities ensuring compatibility across physical functional and program interfaces
- 7Drive continuous improvement in planning implementation and monitoring of technical readiness assessments
- 8Maintain active U.S. Secret Security Clearance with current status within last 24 months
- 9Collaborate with diverse engineering disciplines to resolve integration challenges under strict size weight power constraints

- 1Active U.S Secret Clearance (citizenship required) with recent activation
- 2BS in Engineering or equivalent technical field with 9+ years experience
- 3Level 5: 14+ years in communications systems design and integration
- 4Proven leadership as Lead Engineer managing cross-disciplinary integration efforts
- 5Expertise with Model Based Engineering tools like Enterprise Architecture and SysML
- 6Strong communication skills for technical non-technical audiences
- 710+ years experience in system design verification validation processes
- 8Mentoring capability for junior and peer engineers
- 9Conflict resolution experience in high-stakes environments
- 10Relocation flexibility based on eligibility criteria
- 11Compliance with U.S. export control regulations and security protocols
