Security Officer Patrol Access Screening

You will serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution environment in Newark, NJ. As an unarmed Security Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support access control. What You'll Do5
- 1Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and personnel by enforcing security procedures and site policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- 2Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, access points, parking areas, buildings, and perimeter areas, reporting unusual conditions or concerns.
- 3Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials or delivery documentation as required, and direct visitors and drivers appropriately.
- 4Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
- 5Complete accurate reports, logs, and documentation related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and security observations.
Requirements8
- 1Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3Possession of a guard card or license is preferred
- 4Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred
- 5X-ray screening experience is preferred
- 6Access control and badge experience is preferred
- 7Subject to background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
- 8Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law
