What You'll Do6
- 1Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by executing security procedures and site policies in a healthcare setting.
- 2Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations with a calm, problem-solving approach, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- 3Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols across assigned buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter zones to deter unauthorized activity.
- 4Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and contractor activity in line with site-specific access-control procedures.
- 5Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately, then communicate findings to supervisors and site representatives.
- 6Maintain a visible presence to help prevent security concerns and support a safe environment for all hospital occupants.
Requirements6
- 1Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
- 2Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- 3Pass a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws
- 4Pass a drug screen as permitted by law
- 5Meet licensing requirements based on state and local regulations, which may be required before start
- 6Hold a valid driver's license only for driving positions, not applicable here
