
SDET Playwright Engineer, ServiceNow & Web Services
Overview
You will design and build Playwright-based test automation for the ServiceNow platform and related services, owning the quality of critical workflows. You will join a team of 8 engineers and collaborate with developers on the platform. This role demands deep automation skills and a focus on reliability, with the opportunity to shape testing strategy from day one.
What You'll Do6
- 1Build Playwright test frameworks for ServiceNow web interfaces and APIs within your first 90 days.
- 2Design and maintain automated test suites for REST and SOAP services supporting platform integrations.
- 3Own test execution and reporting, integrating with CI/CD pipelines to deliver fast feedback.
- 4Debug and resolve test flakiness, improving stability of the test suite.
- 5Collaborate with developers to shift-left testing and add tests during feature development.
- 6Drive the adoption of Playwright best practices across the engineering team.
Requirements6
- 14+ years in test automation with Playwright, including framework design.
- 2Strong JavaScript or TypeScript coding skills for test scripts.
- 32+ years testing ServiceNow platforms or similar enterprise platforms.
- 4Hands-on with REST API testing and tools like Postman.
- 5Experience integrating tests into CI/CD using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- 6Solid understanding of agile development and test-driven practices.
