SDET - Java AI API Automation
Overview
You will own the design and build of robust automated testing solutions for enterprise applications, focusing on AI-driven API automation. Scale test coverage across Java-based REST APIs, integrate with Cucumber/BDD frameworks, and drive quality engineering in an onsite role at our Sunnyvale, CA client. What You'll Do8
- 1Design and implement automated test suites for REST APIs using Java and Cucumber/BDD.
- 2Build AI-driven test automation to predict failure patterns and reduce flakiness.
- 3Execute functional, regression, and integration testing across enterprise applications.
- 4Analyze test failures and bugs using Splunk log investigation and root cause analysis.
- 5Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality feedback.
- 6Develop performance and load test scenarios for API endpoints to ensure scalability.
- 7Collaborate with developers and product managers to define quality metrics and test strategies.
- 8Maintain and extend test frameworks to accommodate new features and changing requirements.
Requirements8
- 15+ years of experience in Java development and test automation.
- 23+ years in REST API automation using Cucumber/BDD.
- 3Hands-on expertise in AI-driven testing tools or machine learning-based test optimization.
- 4Strong experience with Splunk for log analysis and debugging.
- 5Proficiency in functional, regression, and integration testing methodologies.
- 6Experience with Git, Maven, and Jenkins for build and CI.
- 7Solid understanding of Agile development practices.
- 8Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
