What You'll Do11
- 1Conduct evaluations to identify communication needs
- 2Develop and monitor treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- 3Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- 4Support AAC implementation and communication strategies
- 5Maintain documentation and ensure regulatory compliance
- 6Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
- 7Consult with staff on communication approaches
- 8Deliver evidence-based interventions
- 9Foster positive relationships with students and families
- 10Contribute to school culture of inclusion
- 11Perform additional duties as needed
Requirements10
- 1Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- 2Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license
- 3Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- 4Autism spectrum disorders experience required
- 5AAC systems proficiency demonstrated
- 6IEP development knowledge essential
- 7Special education regulations familiarity necessary
- 8Strong communication and collaboration skills
- 9Relationship-building ability critical
- 10Commitment to evidence-based practice
