Overview

Own the school psychology program in an urban district for the upcoming academic year, collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to support assessments and interventions at scale. Work within a team of educators and support staff across multiple sites in the Chicago area. This role emphasizes collaboration, thorough documentation, and evidence-based practices that impact student outcomes.

What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and conduct Testing and Evaluations to inform interventions and supports across multiple campuses
  • 2Design and implement Assessments that guide individualized education plans and progress monitoring
  • 3Collaborate with teachers and families to create data-driven intervention plans and referrals
  • 4Engage in multidisciplinary case discussions with administrators and support staff to optimize student outcomes
  • 5Document findings and maintain compliant records using digital documentation systems
  • 6Shine as a subject-mMatter expert in school psychology practices within the urban setting
  • 7Lead outreach and communication with families to support student services
  • 8Coordinate with service providers to ensure timely delivery of interventions
  • 9Mentor/participate in clinical interns and new staff to uphold standards
  • 10Monitor and report on caseload progress and program effectiveness

Requirements6

  • 1Master’s or Specialist Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • 2Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Psychologist endorsement
  • 3Prior experience in an urban school setting is a plus
  • 4Strong communication and organizational skills with proficiency in digital documentation systems
  • 5Location: Chicago, IL and surrounding areas; Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week
  • 6Compensation: $40.00 to $60.00 per hour with benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k
