RV Roof Restoration Technician - Expert Spray Coating Specialist
Overview
The RV Shop seeks an experienced Roof Restoration Technician to lead preparation and assembly for our premium spray-on roof coating system. This role involves full involvement in every stage of roof restoration including coating application and quality inspections. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience in automotive or roofing trades. Consistent hours and performance-based earnings available.
What You'll Do10
- 1Perform Roof Teardowns: Remove disconnect and reinstall rooftop components including air conditioning units antennas vents skylights and other roof-mounted accessories
- 2Prepare Surfaces for Application: Clean mask tape sand and grind roofs to ensure proper adhesion and high-quality finish
- 3Assist with Roof Coating Application: Support specialized three-layer spray-on coating systems following company procedures
- 4Operate Shop Equipment: Safely use hand tools power tools sanding equipment ladders lifts and spray equipment
- 5Support Component Reinstallation: Reinstall components after coating ensuring proper fitment sealing and basic electrical reconnection
- 6Inspect and Deliver Quality Work: Conduct visual inspections throughout preparation application and finishing processes
- 7Follow Safety Procedures: Wear respirators and PPE when handling coating materials and power tools
- 8Maintain Organization: Keep work areas tools and materials clean and production-ready
- 9Collaborate with the Team: Communicate project status material needs and workflow with technicians and leadership
- 10Support Shop Operations: Assist with additional production and shop projects as needed
Requirements5
- 15+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 23-5 seasons experience in automotive repair RV service construction roofing or spray foam insulation
- 3Basic electrical knowledge preferred for disconnecting reconnecting rooftop accessories
- 45+ years constructing and preparing RV roofs for premium coating systems
- 5Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn electrical tasks
