Overview
You will own the sales cycle for residential roofing projects in the Tampa market, from lead generation to close, with uncapped earning potential. You will work with insurance claims and storm damage assessments, guiding homeowners through the restoration process. You will join a GAF Master Elite contractor with 30,000+ completed projects. This role combines field inspections, client education, and negotiation to build a long-term book of business.
What You'll Do10
- 1Generate roofing leads through referrals, networking, neighborhood outreach, and local prospecting
- 2Meet with homeowners to evaluate roofing and exterior needs, performing site inspections
- 3Document visible storm or property damage, including photos and measurements, for claims
- 4Educate customers on roofing options and explain repair or replacement recommendations
- 5Guide homeowners through the insurance claims process without acting as a public adjuster
- 6Collaborate with insurance adjusters to provide accurate project documentation and estimates
- 7Prepare estimates and proposals, present them to homeowners, and close sales
- 8Maintain consistent communication with customers, production, and project management teams
- 9Track all sales activity, customer records, and project updates in the company CRM
- 10Build referral relationships and represent the company positively in the Tampa community
Requirements10
- 12+ years in roofing, restoration, exterior remodeling, or home-improvement sales
- 2Experience with insurance-related roofing projects and storm-damage claims
- 3Knowledge of residential roofing systems, materials, inspections, and estimating
- 4Strong prospecting, relationship-building, negotiation, and closing skills
- 5Ability to explain technical information clearly and professionally
- 6Self-motivated and organized, with a track record of managing an active sales pipeline
- 7Willingness to work in the field, including evenings or weekends, to meet homeowners
- 8Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- 9Comfortable climbing ladders and inspecting residential roofs
- 10Proficiency with smartphone, tablet, CRM, and digital estimating tools
