What You'll Do14
- 1Lead and guide a multidisciplinary team on a new robotics R&D project providing technical direction and hands-on support
- 2Design program and develop an autonomous vehicle using ROS
- 3Develop navigation algorithms enabling self-navigation under machinery and within complex industrial settings
- 4Map accurate navigation routes using blueprints and infrastructure drawings
- 5Implement and refine robotics control software with C++ and Python
- 6Test diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions to ensure reliable safe operation
- 7Continuously improve performance by analyzing test results and optimizing software and hardware
- 8Commission autonomous vehicles at client sites ensuring proper installation configuration and integration
- 9Provide technical support training and documentation during and after commissioning
- 10Collaborate with mechanical electrical and software teams to integrate robotics mechatronics and automation components
- 11Apply machine vision and automation techniques to enhance system capabilities
- 12Use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to review mechanical and layout designs for the robotic system
- 13Work with embedded software and PLC programming to interface with industrial control systems
- 14Communicate effectively with stakeholders including bilingual Spanish communication when required

- 1Proven experience with ROS in developing and deploying robotic systems
- 2Hands-on experience programming autonomous navigation systems for mobile robots
- 3Strong programming skills in C++ and Python for robotics applications
- 4Solid understanding of robotics mechatronics principles including sensors actuators and control systems
- 5Ability to read and interpret blueprints and infrastructure drawings for navigation route mapping
- 6Experience testing diagnosing and troubleshooting robotics or automation systems
- 7Ability to lead and mentor a technical team on new product or R&D initiatives
- 8Willingness and ability to travel for commissioning work at client sites
- 9Experience with embedded software development for robotics automation systems
- 10Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial automation environments
- 11Knowledge of machine vision systems applied in robotics and automation
- 12Experience in mechatronics robotics engineering or related field
- 13Bilingual proficiency in Spanish for effective communication with diverse teams and clients
- 14Experience with industrial or autonomous mobile platforms
- 15Flexibility to work hybrid with occasional remote days when project needs allow
