What You'll Do10
- 1Greet customers with a positive and professional attitude, building rapport from the first interaction.
- 2Recommend products based on customer needs, upselling and cross-selling cigars, botanicals, vaporizers, and accessories.
- 3Educate customers on product features, usage, and care, ensuring informed purchases.
- 4Enforce strict age verification (21+) and ID compliance policies with every transaction.
- 5Operate the POS system and process transactions accurately, including cash and card payments.
- 6Promote the loyalty/rewards program and current promotions to increase repeat business.
- 7Maintain store cleanliness and organization, restocking shelves and merchandise displays.
- 8Assist in maintaining the walk-in humidor and product displays to premium standards.
- 9Follow opening and closing procedures, including daily checklists and security protocols.
- 10Collaborate with team members to meet store sales goals and uphold company standards.
Requirements7
- 11+ years in retail, sales, customer service, or related field (vape, tobacco, smoke shop, convenience store, hospitality, restaurant) preferred.
- 2Strong communication and customer service skills, able to engage diverse customers.
- 3Reliable, punctual, and professional with a strong work ethic.
- 4Comfortable learning about products and educating customers on them.
- 5Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- 6Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset, eager to contribute to store culture.
- 7Must be at least 21 years old and able to verify age and ID legally.
