Overview
The Retail Asset Protection & Environmental Health and Safety Manager leads store safety and security for the Raleigh market. This role reports directly to the Director of AP/EHS and influences retail leadership. Responsibilities include risk mitigation and managing shrink and safety performance. What You'll Do11
- 1Implement strategy with Vice President of Operations to support safety profitability and inventory excellence
- 2Manage VPO territory shrink and outlier program through trend analysis and root cause determination
- 3Conduct regional district visits to strengthen AP/EHS department partnerships
- 4Assist with property protection controls such as fire systems CCTV and burglar alarms
- 5Perform comprehensive audits to ensure policy and procedural compliance
- 6Communicate loss and safety trends to store operators
- 7Investigate fraud or policy abuse cases to reduce hazard frequency
- 8Utilize Secure Store exception-based reporting software for loss identification
- 9Partner with Risk and Claims staff to address claims trends
- 10Maintain detailed organizational and procedural documentation
- 11Develop time management and conflict resolution skills for independent work environments
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university
- 25+ years building ETL pipelines with Spark and Airflow
- 3OSHA VPP experience preferred
- 4Wicklander-Zulawski certification or obtain within three months of hire
- 5Minimum 60% overnight travel capability
- 6Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- 7Self-motivated with strong time management abilities
- 8Solid conflict management skills for stressful situations
- 9Ability to work nights evenings and weekends as needed
- 10Experience with Retail operations multi-unit settings
- 11Two years related experience or training recommended
